Nataliia Ilienko’s life was taken by a Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia. She sustained severe injuries on August 18, 2025, when the enemy launched missile strikes on a market area. At the time, she was opening the café she owned. Missile fragments struck her spine and damaged her spinal cord. Nataliia was in intensive care and unable to breathe on her own. She later began to recover, but on November 16, 2025, her heart stopped.

Nataliia was 28 years old. She was born and lived in Zaporizhzhia, where she started her own business—a café. In her free time, she loved drawing and creating clay artworks.

“She was a very good person—kind, compassionate, creative, always helping those in need,” said her former husband, Maksym Ilienko.

She is survived by her parents and her daughter.
