Hi all,

Trying to figure out the name of a dessert or savoury thing we had at the stall in the screenshots.

From memory it was served warm, cinnamon flavour and had applesauce or custard in the middle.

Was a rectangle shape I think about the size of a phone screen. Don't have a photo of when we got it unfortunately.

  1. So if you chose either dessert or savoury you think you might get it wrong? Welp, it doesn’t likely sound anything savoury.

    Your description isn’t very specific but maybe it was a munkki, a most-often sugar-covered doughnut, sometimes filled with things like apple jam or custard. Specifically a possumunkki a rectangular version named for it kind of resembling a pig. Not typical to be cinnamon-flavoured but not unheard of either.

  2. Could be a lörtsy, they are sometimes triangular although generally a half circle, can contain apple filling and would be served warm from a stall.
