Very interesting. I always knew the South of Italy is poorer compared to the North. How much on a daily basis? How does South of Italy compare to Portugal (Alentejo for example)? And how significant os the impact of organized crime on the daily life for the people in the South of Italy?
So living in Crotone is only pain 24/7 ? 🙁
Didn’t realise Como was especially poor relative to other areas in the North. All those mansions around the lake gave me a different impression.
A wasp robbed a piece of my ham in Parm. It was so quick and efficient that I suspect it was not the first time. So yeah, Parm is cool and all but keep your eyes open…

You guys have a lot of provinces. I feel like I know 1/3 of them from Assassin’s Creed and another third from reading the information on cheese packs.
What caused the big changes compared to last year?
Parma moved from 39 to 1 within one year. Udine dropped from 9 to 46. Does it take into account stuff like Coronavirus lockdowns which might see harsh regional impacts?
Quite funny, this year I was in the north of Italy and on Sicily as well 🙂
The most obvious this ranking was for infrastructure
Südtirol (“Bolzano”) goes brrrrr
Trento and Southtyrol (“Autonomous Province Bolzano”) beating Cities!
