War in Ukraine: Is Germany losing its EU leadership role?

  1. Isn’t it pretty obvious that Germany has no interested in leading anyone anywhere? I get it, there is usually no reward, if something goes wrong they will be blamed and you can be sure that they will be called Nazis by some foreign Leader.

  2. Russia timed the invasion perfectly. Secession of one of the most steadfast politicians in recent global history, handover of power after a very long period in office, economic turmoil and general desire for a return to normalcy after a rough couple of years.

The new government is doing what it should be doing. Focusing inwards whilst taking a measured and considered approach to the war. Demanding anything else is irresponsible.
