1. Feels like we are headed to a new cold war. This time where America is more closely aligned with Russia and concerned with China.

   I suspect the real outcome of this war will be a huge shift east. Russia, China. India, America with Europe cut out by each to varying extents.

2. now I really don’t want war. I really really dont want war.

   but it seems pretty clear that russia does. they’ve been poking and prodding at europe for years here in the baltic sea.

   when are we going to stand up to this bully?
   when are we going to give some payback?
   we can do covert operations too can’t we? we can run an online psyop campaign against russia can’t we?
   we can undermine russian assets and russian leadership can’t we?
   why don’t we do to russia what they do to us?

   because putin has nukes? we have nukes too, we’ve been there its called MAD-Mutually Assured Destruction. nukes wont drop. and russia doesn’t seem to care that we have nukes, because they know we will never launch first.
   when will we understand that russia also will never launch first?

   fact is, the war between russia and the west already started a decade ago, and yall only just realizing. well russia has been making big gains and winning a lot of battles most of you didn’t even know was being fought.
   and I’m not talking about ukraine here.

3. We should not poke the Russian bear. Instead, we should stab it.

   I’m really in favour of sending volunteers to Ukraine. Send every active service member a letter giving them the opportunity to volunteer for Ukraine, while maintaining their salary and bringing home valuable experience.

   Loads of hard soldiers are yearning to put their training in practice, in my personal experience

   This is so dumb, I don’t even know where to begin. The number of incidents over the course of a decade are so small, i doubt anyone could gather the data to calculate how small the effort and cost to resolve such incidents…

5. It’s funny how russians never think that what their antics will receive an equivalent response.

   And when they do, predictably, they will cry and point to their nukes.
