  8. If there’s anything I love in life, it’s seeing a Robin in the garden. Even more so when you’re digging and they come up close.

    It’s one of life’s pleasures that I’m looking forward to showing my little lad when he’s old enough to notice.

    The one that lives in my garden thinks he can take everything, up to and including passing seagulls, the postie, the neighbours’ bulldog, and the daily Airbus A380 Glasgow-Dubai which flies over my house.

  18. For something so tiny, these are the friendliest birds. (To people, not so much other robins.)
