Disgraceful, I hope he gets a huge settlement. What an horrific thing to happen to someoneÂ
Ah he’s gonna be rich now
Ffs I use creatine. Going to be putting some in the old protein shake in a moment. What a complete disgrace.
I was worried taking creatine through an airport before. Lad should sue the bollocks off em.
Apparently the tests can sometimes give false results. But you could understand why it looked suspicious as he had it stashed in three separate locations in the house.
Also notable that he has previous convictions including Manslaughter.
So not quite as pure as the driven snow. Same as the creatine in fact.
Sent to prison for 5 weeks because a €15 drug test can’t tell the difference between cocaine and creatine. This should honestly worry a considerable part of the population if all it takes to send you to prison is a €15 false postive Presumptive Drug Test on what can be considered a pretty common household item.
Reminds me of the time I was researching infant formula production and went to Denmark to use some specialised equipment to test the powder.
Had to explain to my PhD supervisor why I wanted to use a courier rather than carry the vacuum sealed bricks of mysterious white powder through airport security myself
Article doesn’t say anything about nature of the arrest or why the Garda raided his place.
The previous manslaughter conviction grossly weighed in on that bail decision.
The fact that he willingly presented to the cop shop was completely ignored too.
The sequel to “Agatha All Along” took an odd turn
This article was very poorly written
I read this in the Irish Examiner because of that paywall in the link. The Garda were so confident it was coke they even tried to claim the “cocaine” had a street value of €22k, the absolute cheek. I can understand why he was refused bail he literally killed a man in 2017. But I kind of have second hand embarassment for Sgt. Geary on this one.
He has to sue, it beggars belief, poor fella
Brylcreem
Creatine
And a bag of Charlie Sheen
If he gets €1,000 per day of imprisonment, which sounds reasonable to me, then that’s €35,000. That should be enough for him to start a small business that sells creatine in 1 kg brick-shaped bags.
Happened me before with raisins , careful out there
plot twist:
the bag was stepped on
Do the cops no longer stick their pinky in and rub it on their gums to check like the do in the movies? /j
