Moldova closes two checkpoints on the border with Ukraine due to drone attacks

Moldova has closed two checkpoints on the border with Ukraine due to a drone attack, APA reports citing country’s Border Police said.

“Drones struck a bridge on the Odesa-Reni highway near the Ukrainian village of Mayaki-Udobne. As a result, the Palanka-Mayaki-Udobne and Tudora-Starokazache checkpoints have been temporarily closed. Citizens are advised to refrain from traveling to this area and to exercise increased precautions,” the police website reported.
