Absolute fucking shit show.
Looked like the other vehicle was at least deploying smoke as it was going by.
Nope. Even if I had training I feel like I would still shit and piss myself. Anyone who does this has balls of steel and I think are badass in the real deal holy field.
Does somebody got a mirror for the docu? It’s not available in my country.
Fuck me. Pretty good demonstration of how important it is to get the fuck out of the APC and also how hard it is to do under fire.
Absolute hell on Earth. Terrible
Dang, just brutal
Everyone who is interested should watch the doc, even though it’s dated by now. Massive amounts of men are dying on both sides from this war of aggression and it gives good insight on what it’s like for some of the men Ukrainian men who have to risk their lives
Sooo did that squad make it out alive? At least partially?
Incredible documentary. I watched the first 30 minutes the other day, but had to take a break because it was just so damn harrowing. The opening scene is absolutely hellish. Crazy to think that as bad as it’s presented in the documentary, it’s only gotten worse, as the doc was filmed before FPVs became ubiquitous.
You literally hear the bullets hissing past them at the very end. So many of them, total nightmare.
Poor Hun. The only one brave enough to dismount into hell, then abandoned.
This scene was so awful, I felt the panic rise up in me
I cant begin to imagine the bravery it takes for a person to step out into that hail of lead. In such a situation one can have all the best training, all the best gear and do everything right and still be ripped to shreds by the shrapnel and bullets.
This is great footage, it shows the reality of war. Unpredictable reality, no one can train for this. In the moment you either move or you don’t. I hope they all got out safe, but my intuition is telling me they had to bury most of their brothers.
This was a hard watch, but everyone should see it.
The unit was from 3rd Separate Assault Brigade. They posted this vid full
