It’s mind-boggling how so many people underestimated the will and the ability to fight in Ukraine. It wasn’t even just Putin, I remember many western “experts” (not all of them tho) expecting a Russian victory within a few weeks. I’ve even had arguments with people on this very sub, because very few people understood how insanely dumb it would be to try an occupy a country like Ukraine with some 200k soldiers. I wish at least the Kremlin understood this, but they are high on their own propaganda.
