Canopy by Hilton arrives in Türkiye as latest lifestyle milestone
Hilton will introduce its Canopy by Hilton brand to Türkiye with two openings this month in Istanbul and Izmir. The brand entry follows the Turkish debut of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton brand earlier this year and continued expansion under the Curio Collection by Hilton brand. The launch comes as Hilton’s Lifestyle category experiences record growth globally, now representing a fifth of Hilton’s pipeline with more than 400 lifestyle hotels already trading.
Canopy by Hilton will be the latest of Hilton’s lifestyle brands to join its Türkiye portfolio, with the opening of two distinctive properties:
Canopy by Hilton Istanbul Taksim: Located just steps from Taksim Square and Istiklal Avenue, the hotel blends contemporary design with the rich cultural heritage of the Beyoglu district and features 110 rooms. Guests and locals will enjoy an all-day restaurant fusing Turkish and international cuisine, as well as a wine bar set within a 150-year-old cistern.
Canopy by Hilton Izmir Bomonti: Situated within the Mahall Bomonti complex, this 191-room hotel will offer guests and locals a blend of modern amenities with locally inspired design in the charming city of Izmir. The hotel features stylish guest rooms, inspired by the Aegean region’s natural textures and colours, locally influenced dining venues, and vibrant social spaces that reflect the spirit of the Bomonti neighbourhood – a historic area reborn as a cultural and social hub.

Driven by growing demand for unique, design-led, and locally immersive stays across Türkiye, Hilton will have opened four lifestyle properties in 2025 across its Canopy by Hilton, Curio Collection by Hilton, and Tapestry Collection by Hilton brands in Türkiye. This includes the debut of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton brand earlier this year with The Ritus Hotel Istanbul Sultanahmet, Tapestry Collection by Hilton – as well as the opening of Altunizade Suites Istanbul, Curio Collection by Hilton, Istanbul’s second Curio Collection hotel.
There are a further nine lifestyle hotels in development across Türkiye, with five set to open next year including Hilton´s first cave hotel, Elika Cave Suites Cappadocia, Curio Collection by Hilton, Porto Chiara Istanbul Karakoy, Curio Collection by Hilton, Les Temps Istanbul Karakoy, Curio Collection by Hilton, Palazzo Donizetti Istanbul, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, and Myrna Izmir Konak, Tapestry Collection by Hilton.
