  1. To be fair, i’ve been on some holidays where i felt dead on the way home, Could’ve done with being wheelbarrowed away

  2. I used to work in travel insurance…

This is not the first time a family has tried to pass off a dead body as sleeping, and tbh I don’t blame them for trying.

Repatriation of a dead body is *fucking expensive*.

  3. Nana is dead…serious about saving money to get home for her funeral.

  4. Thought of going back to Peterborough was too much for her.

I wanna know how they got her through security.

  5. At least Nan got her holiday.

    That’s the main thing.

  6. Having seen the repatriation costs for air ambulances I don’t blame them.

Friend’s daughter fractured her wrist in Turkey, £10K later they got her wrist in a splint and she was then transferred home.

And what a send off, flying home like an angel, albeit powered on high by four jet engines.

  7. I am really surprised they got her as far as they did.

I was flying once and the ticket agent obviously thought I looked unwell, reported me and I was taken for a medical check up. There was no choice about it, it was mandatory or they were not allowing me on the flight. And I was upright and walking around, mind. It was actually quite embarrassing to remember, I wanted to cry. Hard to believe that she got past all those people and didnt even have to hand over a ticket personally or anything.

  8. I had problems listening to this on the radio, I thought it was dead air initially

  9. That’s a bit inconvenient passing away before the flight took off, delaying the flight for 12 hours…I would have kept quiet and said nothing until the other end!!!
