Ukrainian developers have unveiled the Bullet, a jet powered interceptor drone designed to take down Shaheds, helicopters, and other low-speed aerial threats. It can hit speeds up to 450 km/h, fast enough to outrun a Shahed drone.

  1. The speed of progress of military drones is both fascinating and scary at same time. Hope this birdie knocks down numerous shaheds in the future

  2. EU should bank roll Ukraine to develop them in the millions.

  3. Awesome achievement.

But what I can’t wrap my head around is why our Ukrainian media and military cannot just keep their freaking mouths shut about all tech advancements? Why the urge to announce it to the public? We built an interceptor capable of 450 kmh and of downing drones and even helicopters? Awesome, keep quiet about it and let the ruzzkies find out about it themselves when they meet it in the wild.

Didn’t stories like below teach us anything?

    >Vice Admiral Charles A. Lockwood, commander of the U.S. submarine fleet in the Pacific, estimated that May’s security breach cost the United States Navy as many as ten submarines and 800 crewmen killed in action. He said, “I hear Congressman May said the Jap depth charges are not set deep enough. He would be pleased to know that the Japs set them deeper now.”

    >Senator Chuck Grassley mentioned during a news conference that the US & allies were able to listen in on Taliban satellite phone communications, whereupon the Taliban quit using those phones and went to harder-to-intercept communications.

    >There is a rumor going round that Chancellor Bismarck set a team of officers to monitor French troop movements by reading Swiss newspapers.

  4. Looks like “A pilot’s plane!” –> If it looks good, it flies good 🙂

    Slava!

  5. Always interesting to see. The lines really get blurred between drones and cruise missiles once you start adding jet engines in them

  6. Now I understand why Trump pushes for peace Russia would have trouble staying afloat if he gave Ukraine more time…

The ingenuity from Ukraine is masterfull

  7. Thank god these guys are on our side. Let’s keep them there?

  8. Looks like standard jet powered rc plane painted in black to me, nothing really new, but how did chase shaheds? fpv? Sound?

  9. During 2WW, the performance of a military aircraft was highly classified, so much so that revealing it would have resulted in a death sentence for espionage and/or revealing military secrets to the enemy. Today, however, it is the subject of commercials. What times do we live in…

  10. FIY RC jet engines very powerful and reliable for what they are. They have enough thrust to power a whole glider with a person inside. It is relatively cheap, easily available and simple design to mass production nowadays.

Here is a demonstration Flying the Arcus JET Self (not my video):

Different certification requirements but Same principle. Now imagine reduce the weight, reduce drag and make it for one way trip.

  11. I’m just a person, giving a few bucks when I can, but I’m so proud giving to Ukraine via the several verified methods they offer, for defense. Hang in their Ukraine! *Slava Ukraini!!!*

  12. where have i seen the design before?! 😅

Will it come with the 4 30mm Guns in the nose too? Okay, maybe one would be enogh for the job now. 🤭

  13. Hope they can build these fast enough to be effective at a high level.

  14. Imagine they build an anti personnel drone fast like that… Nobody can survive in the battlefield

  15. My good mate used to fly RC jet aircraft back in the 90s and I always thought that it wouldn’t take much to convert these into little mini death machines. And now here we are.
