Disabling One Bridge Could Shatter Russia’s War Machine (and It’s Not the Kerch)

  1. Two problems:
    1) the bridge is thousands of kilometers from the front meaning any attack on the bridge would be planned very far in the future.
    2) bridges are very easy to make rapid repairs on if you need to. If you can get concrete to a location, you can build a bridge there. Bridges are targets to interrupt battle for days or weeks. That won’t collapse a whole offensive on it’s own.

  2. If these journalists know about the bridge’s importance, you can be sure Ukraine and western intelligence know about it as well. It must be a hard target ever since China became a major supplier of the russian war machine.

And yet it still stands. Which mean it’s not so easy to destroy.

Ukraine couldn’t destroy the crimean bridge even though it’s next door. It’s no wonder it couldn’t destroy this one.

  3. ”But the potential impact is extremely high, making it a worthwhile mission for the United States and Ukraine’s European partners to support.”

How cute it’s written as if the US position is still anti Russia
