Stunning done poorly is inhumane.
It’s really not as simple as saying one is good and one is bad.
This also applies to Kosher slaughter but It’s probably less popular in Europe.

there is no humane way to kill an animal. but of course, the best method should be tried to decrease the pains animals feel. IMO stunning doesn’t make much difference.
The only way to prevent this is to become a vegetarian.

From this map, it seems that luckily just a few countries are actually Hypocrites and the majority of Europe is not.
