The meeting took place as part of the visit of the Omani delegation for the opening of an exhibition showcasing traditional Omani silverware, scheduled to take place from December 2025 to April 2026 at the National Art Museum of Belarus.
During the discussion, both parties emphasised the importance of developing Belarus-Oman co-operation in the fields of culture and education. They thoroughly explored the possibility of involving the National Museum of Oman in the project to build the new National Historical Museum of the Republic of Belarus, following an invitation extended by the President of Belarus. Plans were also made for exchanging exhibitions and organising tours by creative groups during 2026-2027.
The two sides particularly highlighted the strong appreciation for the quality of dialogue between Belarus and the Sultanate of Oman – as highlighted by Belarus’ President Aleksandr Lukashenko at the second session of the 7th Belarusian People’s Congress, along with the growing focus of both countries’ leaders on developing mutual co-operation.
