She stated that the reconstruction of Ukraine will be on the agenda of the event.
‘Next year, we will host in Romania the next meeting in the Odessa triangle format, the trilateral of foreign ministers, in the first quarter of 2026, where an important topic on the agenda will be the reconstruction of Ukraine and how we can support companies and investors, so that all three countries can have large-scale projects that will show mutual openness to our markets and contribute to the economic growth we all dream of,’ said Oana Toiu.
The head of Romanian diplomacy emphasised that this will be a continuation of the trilateral meetings in 2025, which took place at the level of presidents and foreign ministers.
On August 8, the heads of diplomacy of Ukraine, the Republic of Moldova and Romania adopted in Chernivtsi a joint declaration reaffirming their firm support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and condemning the war of aggression launched by the Russian Federation.
The head of Romanian diplomacy is currently paying a working visit to Chisinau, in the context of her participation in the Meeting of Heads of Diplomatic Missions and Consular Offices of the Republic of Moldova Abroad.
The agenda of the visit also includes meetings with the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, and Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu. AGERPRES (RO – writing by: Mariana Ionescu, EN – writing by: Cristina Zaharia)
