Saving you time to find that the other 3 warmest were 2022-2024.
For those who are still doubting, how many more do you need to realise this is a trend?
For everyone, yes it's the companies and governments who have the most power. But we buy stuff, invest in stuff, work in those companies and elect those governments. The collective power is ours. So let's do something with it?

We wont stop, we cant stop. The billions in whatever currency for destroying nature and exploiting the land are just too juicyyyy. More money, mooore growth.
I cant see change.
What do you suggest we do?
But have you thought about the shareholders? You want us all to live under a bridge?
Only thing we can do that would impact anything is vote but there is only like 40% people using that right and others will just blindly follow the propaganda of the rich parties. Try to tell poor people they shouldn’t be buying shein temu etc stuff and rich ones that one car is enough
You’re preaching to the choir here
Look at the temperatures this week and next. It isn’t warm enough, it should get much warmer!
Chönne jo die zweihundertsti Genderdebatte ufmache, damit au sicher keine me Links wählt.
There are a couple of different camps right now that slow down (or actively revert) technological and political progress in terms of environmental issues, energy production and so on:
The first group I think is the largest and the most boring. Many people simply don’t care as much as you and I do and have other priorities. I would also include people in here that do recognize the problem, but will not reflect that in their political lives (voting, elections etc.), but maybe install solar panels or buy a more efficient dish washer. Most of these people will get more active once the consequences become more severe and starts to affect them.
The second group is basically a misinformed bunch of political idiots, wannabe contrarians, conspiracy theorists and ideologues. The sheer amount of misinformation and in regards to climate change is staggering and _a lot_ of people believe this stuff. (Aside: strong overlap with anti-vaxxers, great replacement theorists, putin apologists and so on). They are the people who think critical thinking is when you disagree with experts a priori without having to understand or even read papers of reputable journals.
The third group is the most sinister and likely the smallest. They know or at least suspect that there is a problem, but they cannot allow themselves to acknowledge that for w/e reason. You cannot reach these people via information, science etc. They have political or economic reasons to actively prevent progress in this area. You find them at both ends of the spectrum: obviusly people from the right who cannot bring themselves to support a popular green/left cause for any reason, but also many eco-NIMBYs who have an all or nothing, anti-social approach to environmentalism that doesn’t allow for progress.
I’ve heard enough! One more tax break for the rich and another initiative to make highways larger with higher speed limit.
If you are concerned about climate change (and we all should be) change your habits to have an effect on the personal level.
– Eat less meat and cheese (possibly none). Being vegan is not a life of sacrifice, it’s actually amazing and I only wish I did it earlier.
– Limit your flights. We live in the middle of europe. We can reach by train the most amazing places for our holidays, without going to Japan or Bali for your 2 weeks holidays.
– Choose public transport over private, we have possibly the best public transport network in the world, take advantage of it and drop the traffic stress and risks.
Last but not least, vote! And do it accordingly to your concerns because not all parties and politicians are the same and national (and international) policies are fundamental.
„Only the three previous years 2022 to 2024 were warmer, MeteoSwiss announced on Friday.“
So it’s getting colder?
> The collective power is ours.

AMOC collapse/widespread crop failures – nothing will happen before that.
