  1. Trying to figure out how to pay for billions spent on Ukraine

  2. What if China retaliates by imposing double fee on eu exports to China?

All this just to send more gibs to Ukraine.

  3. 2-5€ sounds fair. This impacts only cheap items that most likely end up in a landfill within a year or two.

  4. It’s a good decision to fight against impulsive overconsumption.

  5. I don’t understand this. What is this 2-5€ handling fee about? The current handling fee they have in Luxembourg is 5€-15€ so so I understand this right that starting January 1 we will finally have lower handling fees?

With the ongoing shittyfication and flood of fees it is great to see that there are at least some good changes for the consumer.

  6. We are subsidizing China to send low-cost crap to impulsive buyers. Free shipping costs from the other side of the earth on 3€ items does not come magically. I would set them way higher.

  7. I’ll be happy when I don’t need to pay the extortionate 15€ for the privilege of paying taxes on my package anymore. I think it’s even 25€ on 150€ packages…

  8. It’s not a huge amount to pay, TBH. I recently ordered something from what i thought was a Swedish vendor and it was actually Chinese. Fortunately for me they passed Customs in NL and it was forwarded to Lux with zero fees. Had it been the usual Lux toll it would have been sent back for a refund.
