The self-proclaimed President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, in response to journalists, stated that Minsk could receive a maximum of ten Oreshnik complexes from the Kremlin.
This was reported by the Belarusian agency “Belta”.
In particular, on December 22, after an informal meeting of leaders of the CIS member states, Lukashenko was asked whether Belarus had received ten complexes, as previously discussed.
“Ten would be the maximum,” he replied.
The journalist’s question concerned Lukashenko’s previous statement, during which the self-proclaimed president noted that Belarus plans to receive ten complexes.
“I think there are about a dozen for now, and then we’ll see. If the Russians want to deploy more, we’ll deploy more,” he said.
As a reminder, the Russian Oreshnik missile system has entered combat duty on the territory of Belarus .
As is known, Russia has practically completed the transfer of Oreshnik medium-range ballistic missiles to the territory of Belarus, and this poses a direct danger to a number of European countries.
