I’m still of the opinion that we need to have some funds allocated towards studying the brains of these people, both physiological/biological and psychology. They’ve done studies on serial killers etc and found certain parts of their brain are underdeveloped. I wonder if it’s the same with these people. Is there a way to cure or treat them _before_ they commit these crimes?
I don’t like the idea of private prisons but if a company wanted to open a sex offender “institute” where they could be locked up and studied I think it would be beneficial for society in the long run.
Would also free up prison space which is desperately needed ATM.
So close with the article’s title but she’s just a paedophile, not a ‘woman paedophile’. When’s the last time an article said ‘man paedophile’?
