    Historians will look at it and imagine what it was like to be a russian soldier, crossing no man’s land under the threat of fpvs

  28. I just noticed he’s holding a cigarette in his right hand. As a smoker, thank fuck he at least got to have one last smoke before he died. Especially in that literal pit of despair.
