Funfact: Burger King (The franchiser from US) Wanted the finnish franchisee (Restel) to renovate this hall entirely, but it brought up a major backslash because this restaurant area is within the central railway station and was built in 1862. I’m not sure when this mess hall itself was built, but its been there for atleast a 100 years. Anyways, the museum agency intervened because the whole building is protected.
This used to house a fairly fancy restaurant/bar called Eliel. Now it’s completely messy, full of trash everywhere and screaming teenagers and families and drunks that piss themselves.
