  2. That is the appropriate reaction from someone who has nothing to hide. Not whining, “I didn’t do anything so let’s just pretend it never happened! They’re lying about me. It’s a witch hunt. They’re all against Trump, the best president of All TIME.”

  5. Exactly the right move. Not everyone associated with Epstein was a pedophile, but some people almost certainly were. It is distinctly in the non-pedophile Epstein associate’s interest to release all the files. 

  6. There is at least one thing we know for sure: there is nothing in “the files” that is more incriminating for Clinton than what has already been released. There’s no way Trump and his justice department would hold a single thing back about him.

Trump trying to hide behind a Sharpie and blame his “enemies” was going to blow up in his face, because if they aren’t complicit, they’ll throw it right back in his lap, and if they *are*, they’ll drag him down with them. It was a stupid plan that only shortsighted idiots would’ve expected to work.

  21. This is interesting because Bill Clinton is saying that Trump is protecting people on purpose. Bill is also saying Trump is not protecting himself, Bill. BUT the pics of Bill aren’t that revealing. Bill in a pool, a sauna, with a saxophone at a party, out with the boys! But no sexual stuff.

    So Bill is challenging Trump by saying come on Trump let’s see the files!

    Calling for things to happen *feels* good, but it ultimately doesn’t accomplish anything.

    I feel like I see this person or that person “calling for something” every day and it goes nowhere.

  28. Don’t they have to redact anyone related to an ongoing investigation? If so then the fact he’s been named at all means there’s no investigation so of course he doesn’t need protection.

  32. Trump was desperate to dig at Bill. Could there still be some dirt on Bill Clinton beyond a mundane photo in a hot tub? It’s certainly possible. Though Clinton egging them on for more transparency is pretty confident talk. Trump called them a hoax and then didn’t want them released. That’s rather opposing language. As much as Trump still rags on Biden it’s surprising he didn’t get planted.

  33. Jesus Christ.. when Bill Clinton was running for President, he was given Hell for smoking pot. He famously said “I didn’t inhale.” If we can make a big fucking deal of a potential President smoking a joint.. I think it is MORE than reasonable to want sex crimes and crimes against children to be investigated and prosecuted.

    No, politicians do not get privacy. That is part of the deal.
