It is going to sound harsh what I am about to say and I will probably get downvoted to hell, but I cant resist :
He got the Wrong color and wrong gender, put a blond blue eyed, young, hot ukrainian woman in a post asking for help and a load of british virtue signallers will turn up here and have sympathy (but not really do anything to help).
Meanwhile I am going to bet that some people will also turn up here and say that he should stay over there and “fight” for his country as I have seen many times on reddit threads.
Men and women of any nation that being said ukrainian and syrian men too have the right for safety. Wars should not be happening in the 21st century, our focus as developed western nations should be in development and environment instead we only care about political interests of a minority and their profit.
Can’t wait for middle East foreverwar part 3 where the entire local population is overtly hostile to us because even the sympathetic ones who want to change the regime wont help because they’ll remember how we treated the collaborators last time.
This is what a decline in soft power and hard power looks like.
