  1. It seems like each day that passes brings Russia one step closer to being a vassal state to China. Xi is going to wear Putin like a finger puppet.

  2. I can’t belive putin got played out like that.

He’s crazy to keep depleting his forces while Xi is getting ready to violate him from his east cheeks

  3. China and Xi are laughing so hard, Russia gets wiped out in Ukraine and has to bend over sell their resources at record low prices. And Putin has to take it like a dog because he’s out of options.

  4. Wouldn’t it be proper & fitting if Putin’s Special Military Operation, meant to expand Russia’s area and halt NATO expansion resulted in…**BOTH !!!**

NATO already expanded to Sweden & Finland as a result, but if Russia lost large portions of its territory to China it would be a Grand, Double Failure for Putin.

  5. >Work had already begun on the project, initially called the CR929, which stood for “China Russia”. However, the R has now been dropped, with the aircraft renamed as the C929.

Well, yes? What’s Russia going to contribute to an airliner? Their only modern passanger aircraft is the Sukhoi Superjet 100.

    >In May of 2008, the new Russian airliner performed its first flight. Newly designated as Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ 100), the aeroplane was marketed as a great achievement of the Russian aviation industry and forecasted as ´doomed to success´.

    >In fact, the SSJ 100 was made with huge involvement of the Western aviation companies, their know-how and technologies. The list included avionics made by Thales, electrical system by Hamilton, fuel system by Intertechnique, hydraulic system by Parker, landing gear by Safran, wheels and brakes by Goodrich, auxiliary power unit by Honeywell – and this is not the final list. The SSJ 100 engines were designed by a consortium that included Safran, Saturn and Power Jet companies.

Russia has nothing useful to contribute to the design of a jet airliner, possibly other than their extensive collection of accident reports as a guide of things not to do.

  6. China would very much like a few chunks of East Russia.

  7. China has done Russian drivers a massive favour by halving the sales of Lada’s. And to be fair Chinese cars are really good, technologically superior to American and European cars, even if aesthetically they lack style. You have to admire the Chinese business model, sucking its Russian “friend” dry.

  8. 1860 Manchuria is wanting to rejoin China, you know historical borders and all is something little Putin would understand, right?

    This is getting good.

  9. > The average annual flow of Chinese investment into Russia has plummeted from an average of $1.2bn from 2011 to $400m, says Milov.

    >In 2022, China dropped Russia from its Belt and Road financing programme, while in July, China’s commerce ministry “strongly advised” carmakers against investing in Russia.

    Mwahaha. What an ally!
