He took part in the European Masters Championships in Poland and came back from the continent with a sensational gold medal.
Swimming in four events, Naylor was in outstanding form in the 25-29 years age group.
He returned back to Bradford with a gold in the Men’s 800m Freestyle in a new club record and personal best time of 8.41.81.
As if that was not enough of an achievement, Naylor’s time was also a new European Championships record.
Naylor backed up his gold-medal winning performance with a fourth place in the 200m Butterfly in 2.05.49.
He also managed to finish fifth in the 200m Freestyle in 1.54.79, while he came eighth in the 100m Butterfly in 57.54.
Remarkably, that made it four personal best times from four swims by Naylor, who could not have done much more in Lublin.
Back on home soil, the Swim England National Winter Championships were held in Sheffield earlier this month.
Three of City of Bradford’s young stars, Gina Warrior, Jasmine Shay and Kai Mayers, were in fine form at the event.
Both Warrior and Shay achieved final placings in the 50m Backstroke and 50m Butterfly respectively.
The two teenagers finished in sixth place, Warrior doing so in the Senior B final and Shay in the Junior final.

Both swam personal best times and Warrior broke her own club record in the heat, then again in the final, with a 28.28.
Mayers also had a great swim in the 100m Individual Medley by setting a new best time and club record with a time of 1.00.61.
All swimmers train in the Bradford Council-run Aquatics Competition programme under the guidance of coaches Andy Pearce and Sarah Fisher.
