Canada meets Denmark in its final of three pre-tournament games leading up to the 2026 World Junior Championship. The team has essentially finalized its group with no additional adds coming from the NHL. This is our last and probably best look at how Team Canada will line up when the games begin to count on Boxing Day.
The puck drops at 8 p.m. ET in Mankato, Minnesota. Here’s a look at how Canada will line up against Denmark in its final pre-WJC tuneup.
Of note, Canada will be playing each of its 2026 NHL Draft-eligible defensemen with Carson Carels getting a look in the team’s top four ahead of the tournament. Additionally, Canada swapped Tij Iginla and Gavin McKenna’s spots in the lineup with Iginla getting the slotting with Michael Misa and Porter Martone and McKenna going back with Michael Hage and Brady Martin, where they had some chemistry from their first game together vs. Sweden.
Here’s how the rest shakes out.
