Get a dog and kick a football around your garden and you too can terrorise Dublin – break into wherever ya want! Minimal consequences!
God bless our justice system
Must be a fellow of culture.
Let’s not let the facts get in the way of the outrage eh?
I’d rather the young fella has a dog and a football than continuing with crime. Sounds like a case that shows that softly does it justice regime works on occasion.
Been burgled twice , both times as a single man living alone . The first time I was 23, the dude was caught eventually he was in his 30s. He robbed my grandfathers signet ring , 100 CD,s – when CDs were worth trading in shops , and whatever else and thrashed the gaff. Got the cds back from a local shop but not the ring. 2nd time it was 4 young lads. They destroyed my place , and They robbed a load of what was to me, expensive camera equipment , some of it had personal engravings on it as a special edition camera which was a present . Got none of it back . I caught them in the act of robbing my neighbours house a week or 2 later. , the ‘lookout’ was about 12 and it was actually him that roused my suspicion. I chased 4 lads , in their mid teens out of my neighbours gaff over a wall and down the street but after 100 yards thought fuck it , I don’t know what families in this town they’re from although I would have loved to have caught one of the cunts. These lads hit a load of houses in the area . Gardai couldn’t or wouldn’t get an arrest but there were stories going around about who they were .
Fuck them, they need to get something severe and short at that age and it might scare the bollox out of them. they know what they’re doing when they organise and plan and destroy a person’s sense of security and take their hard earned possessions .
I mean, clearly it wasn’t planned *that* meticulously.
