The RCMP in Burnaby is investigating the theft of a $100,000 Bobcat loader and is turning to the public for help.

On Nov. 30, two pickup trucks, one with an empty flat deck trailer, arrived in the area of Midlawn Drive and Westlawn Drive.

Soon afterwards, the same two vehicles left the area with the stolen Bobcat loader on the flatbed trailer.

“This is more than an inconvenience to the owner. This is a hundred-thousand-dollar theft,” said Cpl. Mike Kalanj.

“If you recognize either of the suspect vehicles or have any knowledge of this incident, our investigators would like to hear from you.”

The first suspect truck is believed to be a dark-coloured Chevy Silverado with a black tonneau cover and a silver or grey gas door on the driver’s side. The lower part of the truck’s body is a lighter colour than the top. It was towing the flat deck trailer.
