  1. From Emily Nash

Kate and Charlotte played Holm Sound by Scottish composer Erland Cooper who wrote the piece for his own mother, also called Charlotte. They enjoy playing the piece together at home and Kate wanted to include it in the broadcast to showcase the service’s themes of love and connection.

The special moment was recorded in the Inner Hall at Windsor Castle last week and the royals were joined on the day by Erland himself.

  2. So sweet! You can tell how hard she was concentrating. Princess Charlotte is a real superstar, always loved her confidence.

  3. Charlotte’s always been such a little star. I think she’s going to be hugely popular with the public as she gets older.

William mentioned during his interview with Eugene Levy that all the kids were involved in music. We bow know Charlotte plays the piano and Louis is learning the drums. I wonder which instrument George plays?

  4. How lovely. Catherine looks so proud with her arm around Charlotte.

  5. Charlotte is bright, and a very happy child. Catherine seems sad.

  6. At my kid’s piano recital, there was a mother and daughter duo and it made me wish I played also!

  7. Aww. This video makes me miss my mom. 😢

Hope everyone has a merry/happy Christmas

  8. How lovely! I loved seeing them smile at each other in encouragement. Catherine had such maternal pride for Charlotte.

  9. This is really sweet. Genuinely moving to see their lovely bond and their shared gift for piano.

  10. This is so delightful, sweet, and made my heart melt. Genuine love between mother and daughter.

  11. Just love seeing them both together. So beautiful! 🥰

  12. how beautiful.

lovely seeing the bond between mother and daughter

  13. Lovely! Diana was an accomplished pianist too. She would be so pleased over this.

  14. What a lovely video! It’s so nice seeing the Christmas Carol guests looking happy and excited to be there.

The chain of the names around the tree was also a very nice touch to symbolize connection and togetherness. People from different backgrounds being highlighted the most in the video was great!

  15. The video is lovely, but her voiceovers come off as… a bit odd? Don’t know why, just feels strange.

  16. I have much admiration for how they are raising their children. A very close family.
