WANA (Dec 25) – An Iranian company has unveiled, for the first time in the country, an advanced system designed to accurately and safely guide the movement of mining vehicles and agricultural machinery.
In the mining and agricultural sectors, operational efficiency and safety have long been among the main challenges. The operation of heavy vehicles in mines with difficult terrain and steep slopes, as well as precision agricultural activities such as spraying and harvesting, requires accurate control and intelligent guidance of machinery.
The lack of advanced domestic positioning and navigation tools has created an urgent need for the development of a precise and reliable system to increase accuracy, reduce human error, and prevent resource waste.
Recognizing the importance of precision and safety in heavy machinery operations, and the need to reduce human error and resource loss, the Iranian company has designed and produced the country’s first precision navigation and positioning system for mining and agricultural vehicles.

With an operational accuracy of better than 15 centimeters, the system is capable of precisely guiding drivers and operators along challenging routes and steep inclines in mines. It also enables accurate route visualization and helps prevent accidents in adverse weather conditions such as rain or fog.
In the agricultural sector, the technology assists tractors and combine harvesters by precisely guiding operations such as spraying, seeding, and harvesting.
In mining operations, the system enables drivers of heavy vehicles to accurately identify the correct routes even on rugged and sloped paths, helping to prevent collisions and unintended errors, including in poor weather conditions. In agriculture, it ensures high-precision guidance for spraying, seeding, and harvesting, reducing waste of materials and resources.
Farshchian, the Deputy CEO of the manufacturing company, described the product as the first domestic system of its kind, stating: “This system is currently competing with products from leading American, Swiss, and German companies and is already in use at two mines in the country.”
