    That’s like ripping open your shirt to reveal a target, grabbing the shooter’s .44 magnum by the barrel, holding it to the bullseye and saying “Go on, I dare you!”

  3. Unfortunately for us all, he will never know. They will tell him that they’re the greatest ratings ever. And don’t forget, he will demand that Trump is put before Kennedy’s name next year.

  4. Very few people actually care about who he honors as they will most likely be those that most of us do not honor.

  5. You know, given the sheer weirdness of Mr. Trump right now, as he feels he must fill the void with everything Trump, Trump, Trump is unprecedented. I was changing channels and caught the beginning of a Kiss introduction (?) and it was so awkward, so off, so odd, I had no idea what to make of it. I think he sees himself as the “Everything Everywhere All at Once President”, in a crying need to be noticed, the force behind all, suggested by a “foreign” movie he likely never saw, heard of, or would understand ironically.

    I’m not even aghast at this point. But EEAAO is science fiction, and it does feel like we are in a science fiction moment.

  9. Trump will say the ceremony had the largest television audience in the history of the ceremony. Trump is so insecure he always has to have the biggest of everything. Except for his hands.
