I decided to finally get one of the walks i planned for a while done on the Christmas Eve. Path went from M25 near QEII bridge to M25 just past Heathrow via the City of London. Quite a challenging experience, but gives an understanding of how huge this city really is.

Well done. Have a lovely Christmas
Very scenic
Ooh, I’d hate to walk near a motorway
Interesting definition of ‘Nice’
This is near stanwell moor
Wow! What was the total distance and time?
It’s vigil of the nativity not Christmas Eve. It’s when you should have your main family meal with 12 dishes…stop buying into all the fake Coca Cola Father Christmas crap and celebrate Christmas the real way:

Interested to see the route you took.
Can’t tell if this is satire or not.
A 10 hour walk? Through basically all of London? Madness
Respect
Beautiful mate
Are you Ed Pratt or geowizard by any chance
Does the song of the M25 restore your soul?
A big road full of cars. 🙁
this sounds like Just Stop Oil’s definition of a “nice walk”
Bravo. You are utterly bonkers and I love it. Merry Christmas.
Tough walk but just remember London isn’t defined by the width of the M25.
Happy Holiday!
What was the roughest patch you walked through and what was the nicest?
Nice walk along M25. Strongly recommend.
Crossing the city on foot like that really gives you a profound sense of its scale in a way the Tube never can.
I had to read the caption a couple of times to believe what I was seeing. How long did that take you??
I recently did a “Roman Wall” walk – a little more scenic.
