There is a big difference: UK can pick and choose which EU programs it wants to join, so UK is always at the driver’s seat and dictating the terms of its cooperation with the EU. UK has already saved 350m pound per week by not being part of the EU. Doubling the price on some programmes is the costs of doing business with EU. UK still comes on top
The most important thing is, UK has the blue passport now which EU countries can never dream of. So sod off

To be fair, Brexit could have worked with a proper plan. Barry could have worked on rebuilding a stronger link with the Commonwealth and good bilateral agreements with numerous countries. They don’t need the EU specifically.
But instead their leaders just sat on their asses and spewed xenophobic rhetoric.
Atleast when we fuck up we aknowledge we fucked up (all be it slowly).
