Help! My aunt and I are making Lefse and as we roll we keep getting holes in the center! Any advice?

  1. You are pushing down too hard in the center. Maybe the dough is sticking to the pin too much too.

  2. Have you let the dough rest properly before rolling?

  3. My mom thinks that you might not have worked enough with the dough.

    You can try this recipe:
    * 1 teaspoon salt
    * 1kg minced potato
    * 100g flour of wheat

    Start with boiled potatoes, take of the skin, and smash it together with the salt. It is smart to use a food processor. After it has run for some minutes, you add the flour and then let it run some more time.

    I believe potato lefse is easier to work with than just flour and salt.
