Bohemians supporters of a certain age might have had an eyebrow raised when footage emerged of a queue, more than 1,000-strong, outside of their Dalymount Park home a week before Christmas to buy the club’s new away shirt, with the logo of Kneecap on the front.

For some, there was a time when a struggling Bohs couldn’t get 1,000 people in to see the team play, let alone queue up on a Wednesday afternoon to hand over hard-earned cash for some merch.
