  18. Might be an unpopular opinion, but I don’t really dislike Onlyfans.

    First off, porn and sex work has existed throughout human history, and will continue to exist. No attempt to ever ban it has ever worked.

    And of all the forms that exists, Onlyfans to me seems one of the helthiest and safest for the actors involved as there is no middle-man involved. No porn studio pressuring actors into specific acts, no pimp beating you if you fail to get clients, etc.

    Personally I have never paid for porn, and I doubt I ever will. But I don’t judge that harshly someone who does. I personally judge more people who goes to prostitutes on the streets, because everyone knows they are not treated fairly.

  25. Any law trying to regulate how people act or behave or spend their money will lead to worse outcomes for the society and only lawyers benefit.

  27. This is so typical of Sweden. Consumers are punished, not the providers. You ban OnlyFans, but you don’t punish those who actively keep it running.

    It’s similar with prostitution. Women are the providers, the ones who practice it. Prostitution is illegal in Sweden, but the men are the ones who are punished.

    It would be similar to allowing the sale of alcohol during Prohibition, but making the purchase a criminal offense.
