How concerned should we be about monkeypox?

  1. The risk is very low, it mainly affects central and western African nations. Keep hands sanitised when out in public and plenty fresh fruit to boost your immune system from free radicals. Blueberries are fantastic at reducing free radicals in the body or a few glasses of red wine if that suits one’s palette.

  2. It seems so odd that it has popped up in so many countries at the same time, given the nature of transmission.

Same for the rare form of Hepatitis.

  3. I don’t think anyone should be panicking about this. It’s a pox illness and is probably ramping up because we have international travel but don’t receive small pox vaccines any more (85% effective against monkey pox). I imagine they would just make them available again if it became a problem again. It’ll be interesting to see if citizens of countries that get vaxxed against chicken pox see the same size outbreaks or not.

  4. It’s looks like a (herpes) -smallpox-Flu, its very early days.. It could be mild or it could be our next covid but worse, it has the potential to even give you brain damage or kill you and make you look like you’ve sores or herpes blisters all over or on parts of your body, there is no real cure, there developing vaccines but with the risk mutation we won’t be able to prepare if it dose mutates.

If the virus mutates.. We fucked.
Life won’t be as Gucci anymore..
Look a photos of smallpox and compare to monkey pox, monkey pox is the little cousin but still dangerous, monkey sores will eventually scab and fall off leaving minor scars, unlike smallpox which left bigger permanent welts..

Smallpox wiped out civilizations, and estimated to have killed 300 million since the 19 hundreds. Those who survived where scared permanently.. Some mildly, some horrifically.

If You think the coof was a nightmare, coof nothing compared to this, this is the real nightmare.. Its ugly, its painful, you gonna lot more careful of who you touch, date, kiss interact with.. It would make some people into modern day lepers in a pandemic setting, but afterwards only evidence they ever had the virus would be the mild to serve scars of body/face.

If this shizzle mutates, it will changes our civilizations to the core… Tinder won’t be so active.

I’d take covid any day over monkey pox.
