REVIEW: Duckett LBW Starc

Starc thinks he has his man, but the umpire is unmoved. No bat involved, will come down to ball tracking. The dreaded ‘umpire’s call’ decision, so Duckett survives and Australia retain the review

INNINGS BREAK: Australia lead by 174 runs

Neither side has been able to bat past 151 so far in this match, yet there is a feeling that England has the firepower to run down this 174 – even with Gus Atkinson (hamstring) injured.

A lot has been said about this wicket, but plenty of Aussies just threw their wickets away in that innings. While batting has been challenging, the ball has not been pinging around at any dangerous level. A bit more patience and that lead could be well over 200 and almost out of reach.

Still, England are 3-0 down in this series and have not won a Test in Australia since the 2010-11 Ashes series.

Will they show a bit more patience? Or, as expected, will they try and Bazball blaze their way to securing a morale-boosting win as fast as possible?

Crawley and Duckett will be out in the middle soon and all will be revealed.

WICKET: Richardson 7 c Crawley b Stokes

Well he’s just gone for the big heave here and popped it straight up in the air. Regulation catch for Crawley and a lead of 174 is just going to have to be enough for the Aussies.

Over 32: Australia 9-131 (lead by 173)

Jhye Richardson has a first class batting average of 21 after over 10 years of cricket, so he is no slouch, and he clatters 7 very, very valuable runs off this over

Over 31: Australia 9-122 (lead by 164)
Over 30: Australia 9-120 (lead by 162)

One wicket remaining, Jhye Richardson out to face the music
