But yet it feels better than China at the current time. And it’s not just economic liberties that had to be considered but also personal liberties. It was cumbersome sometime to see the sluggish responses because Christmas sales should be done and then resulted in a longer lockdown but still better than having a total city shutdown for just a couple of cases and nobody cares if you are prepared or not.
You obviously have more options in a totalitarian regime.
