Any ideas on what this could mean? over the keyhole on my front door and another on the edge of the door, could my landlord have stopped paying the mortgage?

  4. Just seems more like someone is looking for me and if they were to come back they would know I’m home by the sticker being removed, I don’t owe any money and pay my rent on time so just curious to what it means

  5. No harm calling local Garda station explain what happened. Might have happened before, Could maybe be some type of way of marking a property? It’s probably kids messing though

  6. could be someone checking to see if the peoperty is occupied, to return and rob it if not.

    but why use a tamper reistant sticker.. hmmm

    more likely someone ripped it off an item they bought (these are usually on small electronic product boxes) and was passing your door at the time and just stuck it on. Was it already torn or stretched in any way when you found it?

  8. You’d have gotten a letter from the liquidator saying you need to pay rent to x account now not your landlords if they’d stopped paying the mortgage. It’s someone who’s bored and found some anti tamper stickers as bailiff’s would have forced entry and changed the locks or put extra locks on the door, again you’d have gotten notification in the post if this was going to happen.

  9. Years ago (I was ~15) I got ‘evidence’ tape. Went to college a couple years later and used to seal the doors of my classmates car after they’d say the drive drunk or were speeding. Worst part is it took them 2 years to realise it was me.
