Not sure if it's exactly underrated, but the car park is at most half full and it must be the best sunset spot in the country!! Was unbelievably cold yesterday but definitely worth it, great views of Jura and the islands too. Might make another post soon. If you have a random day off and are stuck for where to go, can highly recommend on a clear day.

  1. Stumbled across this in the summer, fuck it’s special up there

  2. I walked up there from castlerock in the summer. It’s some view like.

  3. …And what’s been pictured is only a tiny part of the Binevenagh area. There are some cracking walks all over and part of the Uslter Way traverses it’s length.

  4. Thank you. Always wanted to go but was unsure how to get there.

  5. Hugely underrated part of Ireland’s scenic highlights and awful shame it’s not on the Wild Atlantic Way

  6. People rave about The Glens of Antrim (and justifiably so) but this area is just as nice, if not nicer.

  7. I love close there. There are very nice hiking routes around

  8. The view of Binevenagh from the other side of the Foyle is stunning too. A very unique mountain. That was my view growing up and I miss it more than anything.
