    Europe was and is the main threat for the mobster regime in Russia. Any normalization to the European level of state government would mean the cronies would lose their dictatorial power.

    The failed invasion of Ukraine was a gambit to destablize their bordering countries. Losing Ukraine (and Belarus) would imply the wave of democratization would come knocking on their doors a little too heavily.

    Forget all the schizophrenic rewriting of history and delusional fear mongering about trans-rights and migrants. Fun fact: Russia has way more muslims than France or Germany. It all boils down to a scared regime willing to do whatever to protect their power; sacrifice the economy and throw a million bodies in a meat blender.

  24. Russian drones have been sent into Turkiye and Poland as a warning to back off. NATO has not activated their military options, but are sending hardware and weapons to Ukraine.

    Hungary has openly supported Russia, and should be expelled from NATO.

  34. Lol, if UK or Europe want to destroy Putin, they can do that without any issues even now. Just provide Ukraine long range missiles and close Baltic and Black Sea straights for Putin’s shady fleet. After that the war is over in a few months.

  37. I’m tired of trying to prove this to people here. No one believes it—even though Putin talks about it publicly. Just recently, he said that a war with the European Union will begin until 2030. He even gave an approximate timeline.

    You post opinions from experts and intelligence officials on Reddit that Russia could attack as early as 2026 or 2027, and you get a million downvotes. Back in 2016, you pointed out—plain as day—that the Kremlin’s bot talking points used in Ukraine (“Donbas fed all of Ukraine,” “ordinary workers are suffering because of migrants from the European Union,” etc.) were being recycled on Facebook and Twitter, and you got banned… banned… banned.

    People have already mentioned Dugin’s book, and that’s not a bad thing. He is not the architect of all this aggression, but he is its mouthpiece. The Russian Federation has many such mouthpieces who are not shy about making threats. All you need to do is listen carefully and not treat threats to your life as some kind of joke.

    P.S. Things are bad in the U.S., too. Curtis Yarvin, who somehow became rich and promotes ideas that are disturbingly similar to Dugin’s—suggesting a possible (and not at all far-fetched) connection—has never been investigated for ties to the Russian Federation. For some reason, I suspect that if you dig deeper, you’ll find love letters to Dugin.

    People dismissed QAnon even while Russian TV was talking about new methods of anonymous public opinion control—spreading conspiracy theories that call for action, like “let’s storm Area 51,” “let’s attack pizzerias,” and so on—which eventually culminated in that strange attack on the Capitol.

    I don’t believe in coincidences. I would like the FBI to investigate all of this, but no one is doing it. No one wants to check why something that quacks like a duck, walks like a duck, and swims like a duck is, in fact, a duck.
