US bars former EU commissioner, activists over alleged censorship • FRANCE 24 English

The Trump administration on Tuesday imposed visa bans on a former European Union commissioner and anti-disinformation campaigners it says were involved in censoring US social media platforms. Trump officials have ordered US diplomats ‍to build opposition to the European Union’s landmark Digital Services Act (DSA), which is intended to combat hateful speech, misinformation and disinformation, but which Washington says stifles free speech and imposes costs on U.S. tech companies. 1. Those poltical bureaucrats that were pointed out for the native populations to see who the WEF puppets are.

  2. Well, it's a good start. If they want to fine American companies fro free speech and mislabel it "hate speech" then game on.

  3. The EU threatened Elon Musk with a $120 million fine for not censoring X for them in Europe …. This is why Trump did this .
You can all live on delusion if you want to … That's your choice …. Fact is The EU wants you to only hear what they tell you .
Europe has broken fellowship with America .
Part of the alliance wss based on the principle of free speech ..
Europe is in the process of violating that pact .

  4. Well done. That 🤡 "Frenchman", a perpetually angry queen, is a banana republic dictator—that's what they've turned the EU into, another Macronland.

  5. All this while Trump is trying to shut down any criticism of his ongoing efforts to turn the US into a dictatorship.

  6. All europe has to do is buy out mark zuckerbergs portion of the european market and it'll be rebranded facebook-euro
He can claim royalties like seinfeld lives off.
Or de house him in europe.

Nintendo with the original mario brothers 1 was legally region lockable
So the laws and tools exist since 1987 for
Region locks and restrictions even on or for facebook.

  7. So who regulates the ones that decide which is hate speech and which isn't? This is the problem with branding speech as hate, racist, misogynistic or anything else. If you don't like what you're listening to or reading, switch the channel or turn it off. People have enough common sense themselves to know what hate speech is. We don't need government to tell us that

  8. It’s impressive how efficiently Europe has updated its historical approach to managing thought; same instincts, much better marketing.

  9. Didn’t the UK classify Cultural Nationalism as terroristic. I mean they’re clearly tryna deplatform conservatives. So good on Trump.

  10. Just ban US tech firms from Europe until they comply with the law. Basic economics says European tech firms will replace their monopoly grip on Europe because of supply and demand.

  11. The EU has stripped their citizens of Free Speech. Now they are trying to strip Americans of Free Speech. These are not out allies and they need to be stopped!

  12. Watching European leaders is like reading Orwell’s Animal Farm pigs coerce the other animals into giving up the current system for a new utopia . One that is worse anything they could possibly imagine with unremovable leaders.

  13. Control of information and control speech and information is a tool of government control of its people. The European Union is not our allies. There actions and interference with our countries elections show they are not practicing what they preach.

  14. The facts remain, the EU tried to censor the X platform. The examples included comments over transgenderism, open boarders, and the uncomfortable Ukraine reality that’s it’s a vassal state of the highest bidder.
