Hei! Im visiting my boyfriend in Norway this January. Does anyone know where we can purchase one-time use BBQ kits? Or is it only seasonal…

  1. Alittle but most gas st and a store called Europris got em year around. We call em “engangsgrill” incase you need to google/look up stores

  2. Just use a primus and a gas container and bring a pan. Less of a hazzle.

  3. Just remember to set it up on a non-flammable surface, and to put it out with snow or water after use.

Then bring it to a recycling bin.

Enjoy your trip! Bring lots of wool clothes.

  4. There is a general campfire ban in Norway from April 15 to September 15, which also includes disposable grills in the wilderness. Outside this period, or if there is snow/a lot of rain (which removes the fire hazard), you can use disposable grills, but you are always responsible for fire safety. Use established sites, avoid flammable surfaces, and always extinguish the grill completely before leaving.
