Pretty sure ddns.net is not an official government website
Download the safeonweb app. It will warn of you known ongoing phishing/smishing
Easy step by step process to detect spam:
Did you receive a text telling you to do something? Yes? It’s spam.
This is definitely spam, do not follow the link. They will never ask you to confirm your bank information via sms
Obviously. I don’t see how you’d even consider this to be real
Yup, heb er zo al 20 gehad.
Am I the only one that started getting such spam since getting vaccinated ?
I know it sounds like a conspiracy theorist antivax but I never had messages like that before last summer.
edit: since I gave out my cell number on BruVax plateform. I’m an idiot not writing that down in the first place.
Careful with Itsme. It’s often a scam to get into your bank account! Don’t accept notifications you didn’t ask yourself.
It’s not you, its me
1) check the number
A real service or agency would only use something like 8810 or similar, never a ‘normal’ 0400 number.
2) check the site
Since it’s ‘http://’ instead of ‘http**s**://’, you can be sure it’s a scam
Spam us not phishing. This … is phishing.
The url was enough
1. Take a screenshot
2. Send the screenshot to [verdacht@safeonweb.be](mailto:verdacht@safeonweb.be)
3. Block the number of the sender
4. Delete the SMS
