In the wake of the recent murder of Dipu Das in Bangladesh, Tom Suozzi, a member of the US House of Representatives has asked Marco Rubio, the Secretary of State in the Donald Trump administration, for a report on the discrimination of Hindus in the country. Speaking to TIMES NOW, Congressman Suozzi said: “I think discrimination against any kind of religious minority is wrong. So, the discrimination against the Hindus in Bangladesh …we’ve heard reports of that recently and I have asked the Secretary of State for a report on this… is wrong and we have to show the people that we are not going to support that kind of activity.”
