  1. Lmao it’s funny but I can imagine it horrifying a small child.

  2. It’s a great t-shirt, but not really the sort of thing you wear to a family party.

  3. Christ, don’t let Jack Whitehall see this!

  4. It is a bit much for a four year old – yes. The fact you need to ask this is mental haha.

  5. Not terrible but why would you? Relatives hard enough without hassle.

  6. I have a dark sense of humour. This is a great teeshirt for a festival Or like minded adult gathering. But young kids… nah.

  7. Down the pub, a bit out there. At a family gathering with young children, what were you thinking?

  8. Tbh it depends on the kids. But surely you’ve got something just slightly more family friendly and cuter? It’s a little gross

It’s Christmas after all. A naked mad inside a graphic Mr bobby is pretty disconcerting to an under 7.

  9. Probably better they find out where Noel Edmonds comes from in a safe environment, surrounded by family, rather than hearing mad theories from their mates in the school yard.

  10. Cracking T-shirt, but utterly mental to wear in front of young children šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

  11. It’s not the sort of thing you should wear to a party for young kids unless you’re trying to make yourself the center of attention.

  12. Yep, it is that bad to wear to a family party with kids under 10.

  13. So that’s what happened to Noel Edmonds. He was eaten by Mr Blobby

  14. Honestly doubt a child would notice it without adults kicking off about it

  15. I’m obviously missing the cultural touch point where it says Mr Blobby is Japanese….

  16. My grandkids are all infant school/toddler age. I don’t think this would bother them in the slightest.

  17. This is bloody hilarious tbh. No different to a science anatomy diagram. People are too sensitiveĀ

  18. Blimey. Sorta surprised but also not surprised at the amount of pearl clutchers on here.

  19. I personally don’t see anything wrong with it. Children’s science classes have posters showing the same level of gore. Hell, Minecraft had that diagram showing a creepers anatomy.Ā

Children arent going to be traumatised by this level or cartoony guts and grossness. it’ll be cool at best, indifference at worse.

  20. You’re fine, it’s a T Shirt, much worse appears publicly that kids will see, from TV to graffiti to in museums. Also these children are too young to recognise Blobby. It’s also on a bloody T-shirt, you didn’t sit them down and force them to watch a PowerPoint presentation on it.

Surprising amount of pearl clutching, vitriol and shaming in these comments. An interesting amount of it coming from bots as well.

  21. I wonder why it’s in Japanese. The name Burobu-san just doesn’t hit as hard as Mr Blobby

And why does the pink text below refer to him as the Party Devil?😭

  22. Honestly I’m with you. There’s no nudity or anything sexual on it, and the graphicness is nowhere near realistic enough for it to be inappropriate imo. As a kid, my dad gave me a computer CD called ā€œbodyworksā€ with diagrams and images of all the inner gubbins of the human body and I just found it fascinating, was never disgusted or upset by it; but maybe I’m weird.

  23. I showed my 3 year old and he was quite interested, he said “that’s for Halloween!” But definitely was not scared of it, so seems ok to meĀ

  24. you’d think the t shirt graphically displayed Mr Blobby’s cock and bollocks with a lot of these reactions. Don’t think I know anyone with or without kids who would be worried by this haha. Wear it to your next family do and let them get on with it.

  25. lol:) Noel parasite (ćƒŽć‚Øćƒ«åÆ„ē”Ÿč™«) for the baby….

  26. I mean, I wouldn’t wear that in front of kids.

The shirt isn’t crime of the century but I personally would not have worn that at a party where kids are.

  27. Its a loud t shirt but thats why you bought it.

You got a reaction, that’s also why you bought it.

I’d hazard a guess you knew it was not appropriate for a family party, especially if you knew young kids would be around.

I’d also hazard a guess you’ve got no young kids yourself.

So if this was am I the asshole – I’d probably say yeah.

  28. I wouldn’t have said anything but wearing that shirt is tasteless and definitely inappropriate at a family gathering, especially in front of small children.

Still if you wanted to piss off your family, mission accomplished.

  29. Depends on the individual kids.Ā  Some children would probably find it a bit upsetting.Ā

  30. Fair comment by the Aunt, it’s probably something rated ‘PG’ and not suitable for small children.

  31. Lmao all the people saying it’s inappropriate for children. My kids wouldn’t bat an eye lid at this, if they did notice, they’d just be curious at to what it means.

I’m finding it really hard to see how anyone could be offended by this. I think it’s a really interesting T-shirt / piece of art.

  32. I’m not remotely edgy, but I wouldn’t have a problem with this being worn in front my kids.

  33. I absolutely love it. I have one with rainbows and smiley faces that says “we’re all going to die”, I always wear that to kids things. Gotta get that existential dread going early.
