The year Trump tried and failed to stop clean energy. A whopping 92% of all new electricity capacity added in the US was solar, wind or batteries. EV sales set a new record in Q3. Trump simply can’t stop the energy transition. But he did manage to slow it down and make it more expensive for America.

  2. Two prior US Presidents vowed to make fossil fuels “unaffordable” and they almost succeeded. Reversing the restrictions and rebuilding the energy industry will take years.

  3. Exactly. This joker has a gail force wind in the AI expansion as a tailwind. He is Inspector Clouseau with his tariffs and throwing landmines on solar and wind. The hilarious part is how his base sees him as James Bond.

  4. That was always the goal, they can’t stop it but they can slow it down enough to milk fossil fuels for as long as they can.

    The problem is the rest of the world has moved on and while we along with the rest of the world still rely on fossil fuels the US is falling behind on renewables and that is jeopardizing our future.

  5. Projects that came online this year started construction last year. They had their necessary federal permits and studies completed.

    Trump and his fascist administration are putting in roadblocks to block projects that will come online over the next 5-10 years.
